Yet you were with me in my dreams

I felt your lips against mine
I could feel you touching my skin
Whether your arms around me
Or your hand in mine
I wished I could sleep forever
I could feel your breath upon my neck
And your lips grazed my breasts
But when I reached to touch your face
I awakened to my reality
For when I opened my eyes, you were gone
Wishing I could be in my dreams
But what I really pray for day by day
Is to open my eyes to watch you lay
