P.S. I Love You

She always felt so alone in this world ,
the feeling of love always seemed blurred,
She thought he would never love her so ,
she always knew she loved him more .

Many letters had she written to him ,day and night ,
but a reply never seemed to hold them tight ,
she gave up on him , on family and friends ,
she knew she'd never be loved till the end.

Her life was filled with pain and misery ,
the scars on her heart , the wrath of destiny,
left her alone in the crowds of life ,
and left her crying to herself in a lonely aisle.

Then one day a letter came up to her darkened room ,
it was from him , after so long , he was visiting soon .
She threw it away and pretended she didn't care ,
but she kept looking at the letter,unprepared.

Then the news came , on what seemed a bright new day,
a truck had run over him , and yet again , taken him away .
she burst out into tears ,ran up to her room ,
dropped onto her bed in utter gloom.

She took out the letter and read it again ,
it read "P.S. I Love You" in the end .
