Doubt

Can i believe you're there for me?
Will I put my faith in you, To be faithful to me?
I need your love, it completes me, but is it what youre here for?
Is it really why you're by my side?
I've been tossed aside, stepped on, lied to, and wronged; but thinking of you clears my slate, and makes my heart feel new. But as i look backwards towards my old pain, I begin to realize, it was you.
It was you who caused my pain. It was you who put my love to shame.
Maybe you didnt love me. Was it i my love? Was it me?
Why wasnt I good enough? I didnt deserve that pain. And it was all from you.
But now youre back, into my heart, though i had lied and said you left.
But you never left my mind, never left my heart, we were never truely apart.
But now my love, i shall be tougher to grasp for my faith is tough to earn.
Please show me you really love me. Action speaks louder than word.
Please be the man i know you are.
I never want to think what i have thought long ago, I never want to think i am  a fool for loving you. Never again.
