‘Turning’
The sun rises and we say;
“Behold! A new day is born!”
The sun sets and we say;
“Behold! The day is dying!”
But the sun is only turning
To give life to another day!
With the first small cry we say;
“Behold! A child is born!”
With the final breath we say;
“Behold! The child is dying!”
But the soul is only turning
To live yet another day!

We all have our own pictures to paint sometimes they are obscure sometimes we have to adjust our eyes to know that we are sure!
Your responses are always accurate I admire the way you search between the lines
Much of my inspiration comes the feedback I receive; we draw from one another all the time
Thank you

Wonderful! The minute I read it this old song came to mind:

The minute I read your comment I knew what the song was! This is a fave of mine Pam, I know the Byrds made it big but I have heard Dylan do this but can't trace the albumn...the song was written by Pete Seeger back in 59, recorded in 62 ispired by Ecclesiastes3:1...another 'coincidence' as Ecclesiastes is my favourite book in the Bible, always has been!
Thanks so much for sharing this my friend!

Just a few moments before I read this lovely poem I was glancing at a picture on my fireplace of my sister inlaw who eight years ago past away or should I say turning to live yet another day, she died on the twenty first of October, 8 years from yesterday, she was seventeen an unexpected death.
I know it sounds silly but as I walked by I said to her picture, its beautiful where you are

then I read your lovely poem

this is beautiful John and I believe it is true
thank you for bring another smile
I am sure Nicky will smile as she reads this as well
God bles you my friend...

That's a sad lil' story, tugs at my heart, and all these lil' connections...all I can say is God must be omnipresent/omniscient there's no doubt about it; unless of course you believe in cosmic connections, linking hearts and minds...but there again as you have said before; All is One!
Coincidence...phooey!
Thank you for sharing your story
Blessings
