from my soul
and write
an obituary
to be burned
to ashes
that never arise
again
that's the grave
under the mango tree
white lilies on flow
a tear drops down
of blood
I turn away
and walk
my way
to those
glorious
roses
that
stand
and beckon.
adeiu!
for all that
you were
and are!

sad & beautiful in the same sense
this is a very moving piece from beginning to end.......it bespeaks the sadness and lulls out the beauty of the piece itself even as it is of an obituary.....gr8 read....love peace & harmony

beautiful!
Though sad writing an obituary to be burn to ashes as if to say you'll never rise again because the grave holds you there, under the mango tree. As if buried under the mango tree are memories never forgotten and the mangos from the tree shed tears of blood and yet off in a distance the rose beckon you to follow that Rose I see is Jesus.
Ink from the soul! I hope I did well on this comment this is what I see through my eyes that you've penned . I thought the poem was very lovely a sense of peace as well flows in it.
God Bless

Lovely write. Full of pain and love. It is soothing somehow in the midst of the sorrow. Nicely penned.

"a tear drops down
of blood"
I love these two lines. This whole thing is extremely descriptive, you used imagery so well I can almost see what you wrote of. Great job my friend. Loved it.

Awww, this is heart gone and I can't help thinking how much roses mean love. Thoughts manifest much beauty in this, and this one is extremely sad in that there can be no phoenix...
