My Colours

                        Red
I saw the blood shed like a crimson river flowing from this broken body
            blood for a thousand generations
A reason for living; the source of love deep and endless like a dream in the deep of the night
                                  Hallelujah

                      Orange
The time of harvest when the world unveils its radiant dress of light and life to reveal the serene beauty of change and mystery
              I saw this holy life emerge on earth; a life brimming with God's love and compassion
                                    Hallelujah

                      Yellow
I watched as the magnificent light spread like fire through the nations
                      And so many lives were saved and made new in the warm glow of the son's love
I could feel the strong, bright, burning desire, joy and passion
                                    Hallelujah

                      Green
Green, when the world is made fresh and new like a young fawn bounding through endless fields of thick, luscious wildflowers
                      And in the midst of this vivacious, spirited time the life of love and innocence is slaughtered for millions
                                  Hallelujah

                      Blue
Tears fell from the languid eyes of those who never stopped believing
                    Never doubted while in the very core of pure hatred and loathing
Tears that God did not dismiss; did not overlook, but were held close to his ever faithful heart
                                Hallelujah

                      Purple
Royalty; King of kings, Lord of lords
                      Powerful, Almighty, Gracious, Holy, Merciful
Saviour. Risen. Alive.
                I witnessed the greatest miracle this world has ever known.
                                Hallelujah

And I will keep pouring down on the world this symbol
                In a clouded and shadowed world
Love never fails
                                Hallelujah
