When the fairytale ends...the nightmare begins.

They said 'I Do'
and sealed it with a kiss.
He brought her back
to his castle,
filled with beautiful
flowers
and promises of a long life.

He smiled and slapped her across the face,
lips bleeding onto the alabaster skin
of a perfect little princess.
He shoved her into the wall,
and bruised the eyes that promised
happiness.

He took her by the hair and dragged
her down the stairs
and locked her in the dungeon.
He raped her over and over,
" This is your life now. You perfect little slut."

They went out into the town,
greeting their suitors,
makeup perfectly applied to
hide the bruises and the horror.

One day when the prince was sleeping,
the princess escaped from her prison
took the poison apple from the witch
squeezed the juice into a glass
and rubbed it onto his lips.

As he breathed his last breath
the princess said, " When the nightmare ends
the fairytale begins."

You hate fairy tales because they are not real.

You just as I have the need to be real
see things in perspective, sharp on our heal...
and if things don't go right we promptly revise
don't feed us this garbage, we Know it is *lies.....*
