beautiful trees

beyond the grassey meadow
lays a borderline of trees
full in fall colours
lined so perfectly

the colours were amazing
all gold and red and green

oh i wish you
could have been there
looking at them with me

Please tell me what you think

Fall was my and Richards favorite time of the year. We would travel the Blueridge Parkway and find quaint places to stay. I love this poem and it speaks so much to my hearat.

Good Poet, I, too, love this poem and would like to post it on the poetry blog I run for my newspaper in California, "The Reporter." The name of the poetry blog is "Poetry Planet" and we get a LOT LOT LOT of hits every day. Your poem would be appreciated and I hope you will let me do this. You would be the guest poet of the day.

Awww... I love this poem so MUCH! It could have been said by my dear mum because she was so happy when surrounded by nature. Me, too.

I get so many emotions from this. Amazing considering it is a short piece. I love it
