I walked.

unto thy earth did I offer such thought
torn
by the alley of dark impersonal endeavor
stilled in the deep
forests that come to tide
upon the seasoning of a palm.

all of beauty might fail to glimpse again
your eyes
I have loved
the deepest seed to this chest
wept by seas
tied upon the ocean of a soul.

find measure to the sky they spoke
that drifts an eternal eclipse
beyond his sight of fevered redemption when
all of flame would come to pass.

now the crushing shore is stretched wholly
by the ebb and flow
evermore to fingers that beseech.

I write, a greed so placed it hollows
upon the happenstance of her breath
placed soft when
cheek to cheek
my lover
a voice I cannot reach.
