Knowledgable in the workings of a woman's heart
Articulating the inner desires of all who reads his works
Inner demons give him something to fight for, yet he fears
None shall claim to break his heart of stone

I have not yet met Kain, but this tribute makes me want to. Beautiful!

Short, sweet, but with so much to say. Thank you so much for entering.

My dear, I feel you think of me much more highly than you should. I do not believe I have any knowledge of the workings of a woman's heart, and I still, for the life of me, cannot figure out how my poetry can make a woman melt. Is this something you can answer for me? Clueless, I forever shall be..
You are the awesome one, dearest Laura. My heart will never be made of stone so long as you are around.
Yours,
Kain

This is short but strong. Your work is so so good. To be able to put as much as you did into this with so few words shows your skill SH
