When the struggles in life tug and pull
And the distance is further than near
It is necessary to look inside of oneself
And find the strength to carry on
When the time seems to take friends away
And the smiles vanish behind tears
It is necessary to brush off one’s knees
And find the strength to carry on
When the laughter hides behind hate
And pessimism makes the good times disappear
It is necessary to stand up one’s feet
And find the strength to carry on
Author notes
II.
Writing is my escape
The pen flows freely along the paper
And my head works in unison with my hand
And then, when the end result is achieved
I read, reread, and edit
Until the tears pour mercilessly down my cheeks
And I again, feel at peace.
III.
I am what you cannot know
Because you cannot be me
You cannot feel what I feel
Think what I think
Or understand what I understand
You cannot, until I let you
And even then not entirely…
However, if you read my words
I let you into who I am.
I hope this suffices.

I want a Kit Kat bar
Yes, our knees work in two different positions!
I heard that in China it is oftentimes the custom to bury people sitting down.
I forget why but maybe you can Google it!
Nice poem; forthcoming and compelling.

With me, I always pray to Jehovah God. I never do anything really without his strength. And his Son, Jesus always relyed on God also.
