My lusterous blue eyes
sparkle with a kiss of pain
I wonder if I'll ever feel
the same again
I'm like the night without
her moon
like the rolling ocean without
her mystical tune
Broken on rocks
of emotional seas,
each crashing wave
pulls me in deep...until I cannot breathe.
Drowning,
I'm lost, sinking, flailing.
Like a ship in the dark
there's no house of light to save me.
I'm fighting against
a riptide of loves hurt.
Letting you go
after learning its worth...
...True love is unconditional.
