I stand alone in the crowd,
The crowd splits like water around me.
I sit alone, waiting to be found,
Will no one ever see me?
Shivering, I stand alone,
Watching the crowd with all their coats.
Shivering, I watch the people go,
They all go; I stand alone.
I try to see in the dark,
But the darkness closes around me.
I try to see the light in the darkness,
But I cannot; the dark consumes me.
I stand alone in the crowd,
