One tiny leaf
On a small mountain stream
Dodging the rocks
Like a quarter back on a team
It spins to the left
Then spins to the right
And at the waterfall
It takes to flight
It dries very quickly
And is set to sail
Where it will land
Is very hard to tell
The wind lifts it high
And it starts a new fall
Back to the heigth
Of the tree so tall
The tree where it started
It's very first flight
Gently floating
All through the night
Drifting along
Like an eagle in flight
Gravity pulling
With all of its might
The aerodynamics
Of this thing is just right
Higher and higher
Till it gets out of sight
Then it starts falling
With gravity calling
Then more wind
And it takes off again
Then the wind dies
And still it tries
Falling slowly
With a soft gentle sway
For its first flight
It's worked so hard
But finally comes down
In my freshly raked yard
Author notes
Just my luck. I know its not the falling you where speaking of but this had been on my mind a day or two. This helped me bring it together.

Again trying to be funny, he didn't bite the frogs tongue off. -
Could you see what I was saying with the leaf floating?

Didn't Do It
I didn't rake the leaves, just trying to be funny. I like to try and paint a picture with words. Some people write and I see a picture so vividly it's unreal. I want to try and do that.
