When I stop and think about you
My heart is full of affection
Tears begin to flow anew

I listen to the past that was lost
Ponder the significance and meaning
Wondering what has been the cost
I sense the spirit intervening
I find a love I've never known before
A dormant part of my soul raised to life
All my emotions take flight and begin to soar
A sweet sense of peace replaces all strife
My eyes look upon your very soul
I see where joy has replaced despair
I see where life has taken its toll
I see beauty beyond compare
I sense you are not so far away
