Granddaughter anyone?

I heard you were looking for a granddaughter,
that could be me if you don't mind
a couple of great grand kids too.
Shopping, I love that but sadly I am broke.
I'll take it easy and try not to choke.

We don't have to spend any money
time spent with you is the best thing of all.
Besides we can have hot tea sweetened with honey
and talk about our life.
Share with me your wisdom while
I share funny stories of the kids,
and there little strife's.

I love to bake,
we can make my favorite cookies
from this recipe book.
I am not much of a cook either,
and I don't like to make cake.
We can listen to the oldies station
and sing along while we work together.

I like to dance along sometimes
but I am not the best at moving
or grooving now that I think on it.

So what do you say,
will you be my grandma for all days?
I too have lots of love to give,
a long life to live together,
if God wills.
