You came too soon
In my world of semi-darkness
Perchance to bring the sun or moon?
Or perhaps to clean up my mess?
You came too unexpectedly
Surprised and startled me
Caught unprepared, not quite ready
For a man like you, for a love that's true.
You came too soon
In my life still covered with snow
On the moment I still need to grow
Still full of hurts i daren't show.
You came too suddenly
And promise to bring ecstasy
When I'm used to loneliness
And try to brighten my day
When I'm comfty with the darkness.
You came too soon
And broke into my world
Even before I could heal my old wound
Only to bring fresh and deeper one
When just as suddenly, as unexpectedly
You left too soon.
Author notes
Fresh, deeper wounds will, of course, hurt a great deal even more especially if they came unexpectedly. A scar is bad enough. And to have another wound that will turn into a bigger scar sucks big time D:

Very Troubling
This poem is so well writen,it flows on pushing the words along, you have given this reader a look at the wounds,they go so deep, especially if they are thrust into the heart and soul. Very Moving.
