My love for you is like looking at new tools,
Your eyes sparkle like a new unused wrench,
Your hair is the color of oil,
Your lips are the color of a cranberry tool box,
Your arms are strong like a new transmission,
Your body is built like a new mustang.
I can't wait to open the doors,
And smell the aroma a new car,
I will slide into the seat,
Start the engine and rev it,
I want to feel the speed as we drive.
After the drive,
I will revel in the experience.
Author notes
I wrote this a few years ago for my husband. It is making a modern day Song of Solomon, for my mechanic husband. Not my normal style of writing.
How can I improve this?

Woah!!!!Too Cute!!!
Woah, that was so freaking sweet. I can tell your husband must really like cars. I love how you really individualized this piece for him. That was so sweet. The only line I'd actually change is line 4. I don't know much about cars, I don't even drive. Maybe there's a better metaphor. Just a suggestion.
