You, are a culture shock of fresh air,
a gypsy lost in a gadjo part of town,
a light bulb in a dark field of kaleidoscope buttercups,
you, are a reverberating revolution for every soul you meet,
rocking their sense of purpose past the comfort zone
and in to your illuminated coat pocket.
Cities are demolished in your kiss,
social structers are atomized in your touch,
and waking in your arms each morning;
mankind begins rebuilding the metropolis
out of rusted values society had forgotten.
You, are more then a meer poetaster like myself can explain.
but god damn I'm trying hard!
because i may be young and underexposed,
but i can recognize when I'm being
rocked back, knocked back, shocked back
by the sense of love and purpose
you placed so gently in my ribcage
the night the lightswent out in Clarksville,
and the angels wings began molting.
God I miss you heartbeat at night...

Dedicated to Troy...
this is so weird because I wrote this for him, my best friend of a year, and new lover who is away on his Gypsy travels in Origin, and yet I never wrote a poem this intense for the man i was engaged to all that time ago.
I don't know where this came from it all just hit me.. and it's all true...
god I miss him
gadjo = russian for non-gypsy

Eugene is a lead actor alongside Elijah Wood. One of my favorite movies and novels. -
