I wished I would find a man so great
so wise, thoughtful; I had to wait

I then found you, and my world then shone
I never lost hope, my fear had gone

You've made me smile ever since,
forget my own fears, concentrate on my sins

I've learnt from you that we're young, desperate, hopeless
and that we need someone powerful, otherwise'd be ropeless

We need this rope to grasp onto Islam, and find the truth
help others, forget yourself, be there to soothe
