Hearts beating in sync,
My only missing link,
Never afraid to let the smile show,
I knew I couldn't love you more.

My hand you proudly held,
your warmth was all I had all felt,
You looked in my eyes, I could see the sparkle, the shine,
For months, my euphoria you've redefined

But somethings changed within your mind,
Your love for me began a rapid decline
These green eyes could not offer you much,
Though I promised loyality, care, love and trust.
Your grip loosened on my hand, on my heart
Placing us further and further apart..
Then you spoke the five words  that broke me,
"You promised I was the only one, the forever, what about all that we said we'd be?!"

Walking away, without looking back,
I fell defeated, my mind unable to deal with attack.
The part of me like breathing left me so distraught,

lost in this haunted memory, lonely tears fill my bed
