The Wheel

Cigarettes have kissed my arm
They promise they won't cause harm
Oh, why do I still believe?
Next to the razor's mark
I feel my way through the dark
And it's getting hard to breathe

There is simply nothing here
This wheel is one my hands cannot steer

Poison mixed in my blood
I tried to prevent the flood
But my back is getting weak
Mood darker than an abyss
I'll savour my glowing kiss
Until it's my turn to speak

There is simply nothing left
I will not sit still with my last breath

A ghost in the hallway
Beckons for me to stay
I hear him calling out
Cigarettes have kissed my arm
A sick hope and twisted charm
Can I still switch my route?

There is simply nothing I can do
I will sacrifice my thoughts to forget you
If I steady my hands' grasp on this wheel
Will you feel, oh, will you feel?

Will you trust me?

What did you think
