to Be Free, or Not to Be Free?

Wishing to be anywhere but
this cold dark world-
I dare to dream of a perfect place
Only to be awakened to be pulled back to my reality.
Why can't I escape this cold ,cold world?
Those around can't seem to comprehend.
Not having anyone to go to;
No one to help appease-
I look deep within; I got it!
    A huge bang?
Am I dreaming, or back in my reality?
All is calm, All is peace.
Noticing the light-
I got the freedom I finally deserve.

    I know the feeling here, right now trying to fight it. Its a long story that I will not go into. This was a very well put together poem so many feel that no one cares. The way things have gone that is about right. Few care about what happens to others anymore, just how much money they can get. Most people now a days will let you die before they put themselfs out in anyway. I loved the flow of this, if the contest has not ended then I hope you do great if not then I still loved this SH

    A tragic ending for such a brilliant write!

    The deep emotion pours from this well written poem,

    Wishing to be anywhere but
    this cold dark world-
    I dare to dream of a perfect place
    Only to be awakened to be pulled back to my reality

    Sad as coping with life can be sometimes, it is the unknown of beyond that will keep us.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Easy to relate to:
    So often if we just live our life focused on others rather than ourselves, we have less time to cater to depression.
    Not having anyone to go to;
    No one to help appease-
    I look deep within; I got it!
    I found this a thought provoking write.
    Good to read from you again,
    Sincerely,
    Cheryl
