From One Mind to Another (Survey)

1.) What kind of music do you like? Why? Symphonic Metal. I guess because the vocals are beautiful and breath-taking in range, mixing deep voices with angelic singing, and the lyrics are completely original--also, it can be soft one minute and sexy guitar rifts the next.

2.) Do you ever feel it's necessary to hurt other people? Why/why not? I believe that the truth must come before personal judgment; for example, why is s/he trying to hurt you? What made them feel the need to? We can let the outcome decide that.

3.) What makes you smile? My friend's smiles.

4.) What are your goals? Why? To belong somewhere...I think much differently than most of society, and no one seems to understand me; I live a social butterfly, but in the end perfectly alone. So, I hope to see one day where one can understand me and possibly know more about me than myself.

5.) Do you hate anyone? Why/why not? No. If anyone does something bad, I always see from their point of view; I believe that no reason in the world is pointless or futile.

6.) What makes you cry? I am that one person that everyone loves, but I am not the closest person to anyone--I have no one that would pick me over someone else in importance like most do (not necessarily lovers, per se, maybe a best friend or sister or so).

7.) When was the last time you felt beautiful? Why'd you feel that way? When I stood under the moonlight in the light snow flowing down; the snow looked beatiful against my ivory skin and dark hair-eyes, and I was covered on most of my body so you couldn't see if I was skinny or larger. And it made me feel pure as the purity of the moonlight and untouched snow flowed around me, with no other corrupted one in site.

8.) What are your opinions on sex? Shouldn't have an opinion on this yet, but I see it as a way to show love; early, it is frowned upon by society, but where else would we get childhood sweetheart marriages? True early infatuation. I say that it truly depends on the person; and it can either be good or bad depending on motives.

9.) How 'bout religion? I say, why should we base our beliefs on something just because our parents forced us or society brought it down on us and just believe in what we want to believe in??

10.) What is safe? Non-existent, but is always available in its own sense. You are never completely secure, but if you feel so and know you can defend yourself, then the world can see how truly safe you are.

11.) What's the most important thing to you? Why? Materialistically, a sword, because it makes me feel free. Intangibly, my sense of self to know that I'll always be alright and that I dont' have to depend on anyone to do something for what or whom I love.

Overall, definatly my poetry; they feel like my kin, my story and I discover myself through it.

12.) Are you happy? Happy and optimistic is my usual default setting, but lately things have been taking a toll on me...I am always happy through thick and thin until I realize I fail at something I have a passion for.

13.) What's your worst fear? Why? Honestly...balloons, because you never know when they're going to startle you with their noise but you wait in fear and anticipation that may be wasted and gone unanswered.

14.) What fufills you? Knowing that I am able to fulfill my passions; being unscarred by life (maybe scratched, but scars change you for life), guarding those I love, writing with beauty, proving I'm not stereotypical of whatever I am, and never letting my emotions run loose.
