fair lines

my fingers took a walk
along the bends of your form.
soft tips, lightly nudging your olive skin,
as i strut the wandering members
up and down your fair lines.

a stroll across your back,
like a humbling walk in the park,
carrying my feet through your shallow grasses;
tickling your senses with ease.
like gently tanned leather,
thinly folded over your bones as silk,
i glide over that perfumed skin,
such as a leaf coasting upon water.

boldly searching between your twin hills,
trekking a trail amidst those mounds,
i beat a path, only traveled by my hand;
velvet laid atop your breasts,
solemnly kissed by my lips.

i took a long run down the length of your leg,
not stopping once to catch breath.
i tripped as i strode over your knee,
then inhaling your scent like a bright new day.
the sun arose over the valley of your chest,
spilling honey all over your neck -
drank eagerly like the sweetest wine.

you peeled your darkened eyelids,
flashing those golden-brown gems like an exhibit;
and as a lover, i hushed your small lips
with my traveling digits,
and you shed your flawless smile...

"sweetheart, i'm here to watch you wake. make damn sure you don't drift back to sleep, for this morning, our love will be made."

have you ever experienced the joy in this?
