Your Outward Appearance, To Me.

Like the steady crunching metal riff,
That kicks into a song,
Your face reminds me of a sound,
That's masculine and strong.

Your eyes, they seem familiar,
Though your soul unknown to me,
I only see what you will show,
To me that's what you'll be.

Your hair falls down your shoulders,
Like some handsome knight of old,
Who searches for his damsel,
Keeps her from the Winter cold.

There's so much more than vision,
But the reason why I write,
Is the moments when your smile spreads,
And fills your face with light.

When that serious expression,
Gives way to your emotion,
I'm melting at the melody,
Of the softest, sweetest notion.

Author notes

Random title, yes. But I guess that's simply what it is! Just a fun piece about a particular internet friend, with a fantastic smile! ;-)
