looking at where I am and what I've done,
I can justify what I have become.
if I could go back, I would not change,
a single choice I have ever made.
Yes, I have regrets.
and, yes, I've made mistakes,
but I understand,
what I've learned from those days.
my life's a journey, and it's far from done.
I've made it this far, and I'll never stop.
the lessons I'll learn, and people I'll meet,
shall always be cherished as part of me.
mistakes to embrace,
and regrets to face.
life's the oldest and wisest,
of any studied prophets.
if you view life's messages,
through many different lenses,
you will find a plethora of lessons,
to be learned from all your decisions.
when you make mistakes,
that you want to change,
try not to regret or mourn.
learn the lesson - be reborn.
I can justify what I have become.
if I could go back, I would not change,
a single choice I have ever made.
Yes, I have regrets.
and, yes, I've made mistakes,
but I understand,
what I've learned from those days.
my life's a journey, and it's far from done.
I've made it this far, and I'll never stop.
the lessons I'll learn, and people I'll meet,
shall always be cherished as part of me.

of any studied prophets.
if you view life's messages,
through many different lenses,
you will find a plethora of lessons,
to be learned from all your decisions.
when you make mistakes,
that you want to change,
try not to regret or mourn.
learn the lesson - be reborn.

Nice poem with a good message. Looking back with regrets doesn't solve anything, it makes it worse. 'learn the lesson - be reborn' - great ending. Thank you for entering the contest ‘Metaphysical Poems #3’.
