The night is so beautiful tonight,
I can almost see your face,

You were so pretty that day,
Your smile was so bright,
I love you still,
I really want you back,
Before you fade away.

Here I stand alone,

Keeping me from the cold,

    Excellent take on the prompt
    I love the way you used the title
    and created a new poetic marvel
    Very piongant raw emotions here
    the imagery id great

    "Here I stand alone,

    Brilliant strong final stanza
    really bring this piece home
