I project this macho image
to all my screaming fans;
they know my name across the world
from Little Creek to Cannes.
Stardom made me grow so bold
I took this brazen dare
to break the wildest horse around ~
the devil of a mare.
She hasn't let a soul go near
until this very day.
She's bitten, kicked and roared at all
who've gotten in her way.
So now I have to show 'em all
how great I really am.
They've travelled 'cross the land to see
me tame this badass dam.
We start our battle in a blaze
like Churchill versus Rommel,
but damnit all, she'll best me when
I come down on that pommel!

Ouch! Really enjoyed this ride, have seen a lot of rodeos. The rider lives a dangerous life...Good write.

Your writing style always tickles me in the right places!
It's as if the words absorb into my ocular cavities then rattle around
three revolutions before dancing off the end of my tongue into a bowl
of giggles!
P.S. I've got five smackers on Churchill.

great read
I looked at the contest and picture but mind wouldn't come up with anything and certainly wouldn't have been as witty as this. Well done and good luck in the contest. -
Wow this picture is soooo busy... and I can definitely see the title in this one... more that my butt would be sore if it were me on that broncho. Wow. Great write. I liked it. Thanks for sharing this with us.
