My love is unconditional, even when my master
forgets to feed me and give me fresh water.
Sometimes he hits me or throws me, but I
lick his hand and forgive his hateful behavior.
Then I lay my head on my paws and wonder
what thing it was I did that made him act this way.
I long to be petted and talked to, but he thinks
animals should not be pampered and spoiled.
My human thinks I am his possession and so
he can beat me and send me flying with a kick.
No matter how much I show him my love,
he will not bend to share his hand with me.
Today he read an ad asking for animals
for experiments in a lab of some kind, somewhere.
They pay good money, I heard him say to her
and so he will leave me there alone tomorrow.
I would never give him away, even for money.
He is my friend and I long for his company at night.
I know they will hurt me, the other animals told me so,
and soon I will be dead so someone's shampoo will not sting.

Animals love unconditionally. They ask only for love and acceptance. They are sentient beings with feelings and emotions. Most are as smart as people, a lot are smarter. To treat them cruelly and deny them care is the same as abusing a child. My cats, Fluffy and Sissy are rescue cats that make this disabled old woman's life a joy. Please, report cruelty, support animal organizations and never turn away from these wonderful creatures who share this earth with us.
My cat can say 'ma-ma' and every time she does, something grows in my heart to make me a better person.

Oh my!
All animals and even plants respond to love and care. All living things have a soul! . I pray so hard at times for people to realize this and treat all living things with the respect they deserve.
