Moving On

It no longer hurts to breath,
Or to open my eyes to a new day.

It no longer hurts to write these meaningless words.

My mind has cleared,
Where ignorance is no longer pulling me down,

My broken heart,
Has been mended with tears,

Forever it will be scarred,
And wounded by our reckless love.

Tomorrow will start again,
The days will pass,

And somehow I'll dig my way out.
Out of the lonelyness I've fallen into.

Love will wiggle, again, into my life,
When I feel it's time.

I refuse to be destroyed by this,

I demand to grow,
I demand to learn,

And I will love again.

Author notes

I feel like me again. That's nice.
