Many nights
I laid in your arms.
Many mornings
I kissed your lips.
Those days
have ended.
We were happy
in love and joyous.
Now the days stay grey
and the nights are lonely.
I remember when
you were mine
and when we loved.
I see you now
with another lover
and I run and hide.
You don't see
how bad you hurt me.
You gave up love
I gave up my heart.
I've cried for days
and hidden from friends.
All the world looks away
as I hide in shame.
I can't smile or laugh
I just lost my soul.
