I am not a good American.
I do not believe in democracy.
What the fuck do “most” people
Know?
Half of them think the world
Hatched from an ostrich egg
Four thousands years ago.
The other half are too drunk
Or too stoned to correct them.
No I am not a good American.
I think we should take care
Of old people and sick people
and crazy people who cannot work.
Give them a place to live
And something to eat
For free.
Yes and I believe that rich people should
Pay more than poor people
Just because they are rich.
No I am definitely a bad American.
I don’t think you should be able
To get triple bypass
Heart surgery, kidney dialysis
And a boob job to boot
When you are already ninety five years old
simply because you have insurance to pay for it.
You shouldn’t be able to eat all you want
and drink all you want
and have all the kids you can
And drive around in a monster truck
HEY FAT ASS LEAVE SOMETHING
FOR THE REST OF US WHY DON’T YA?
So you see how I am!
No hope here.
I may know all the words to the Star Spangled Banner.
I may have a flag in my front yard
But I am not a good American!
And I feel bad about it.
