Amera's Limerick

Missing image
There was a fine poet called Amera
And words would queue to be near her
They would line up so neat
To form sonnets so sweet
That poets would come far to revere her.

Hi there, thanks for your comments. Amera's poetry amazes me , she is a clever, clever woman and I have learnt so much from reading her work. The limerick was just my first feeble attempt at writing form poetry... I really prefer free verse.
I checked out your writing the other day and will post a comment tomorrow, cos it's late now and I need some sleep.
      Regards, Peter
