I remember when I was a little girl
I'd put on my mittens and run out the door
Dance and laugh among the falling flakes
I wouldn't locked up no more
I remember thinking that the snowflakes
Were the prettiest little things I'd seen
Now I see my wedding ring
And think my eyesight wasn't so keen
I'm strutting down the petal-covered aisle
And slowly right up to you
I remember just staring into your eyes
Nearly shouting, "Yes, I do!"
I'll stand by you forever and beyond
Because I'll love you for that long
Hold my close and kiss me softly
As they sing the wedding song
Author notes
Oh, congratulations to her!
