Tastes Like Honey (A Night of Paradise)

Sweet lingering kisses
On a beautiful summer's night.

A silky mid-length black dress,
With matching black stilettos.

A white dress shirt and dark black tux,
With black dress shoes.

We were dressed for death,
And death is what came.

How could a sweet, honest kiss
Turn into a sour, greedy rage of emotions?

Our night of paradise,
Ruined by your condesending ego.

Your kisses tasted like honey,
With an after taste of acid.

Thank you for the wonderful romance,
And for the not-so-sweet ending.
