Barren land and my broken heart
I have lost it all and I am falling apart
My broken spirit that I want to hide
Throw away all that is me inside
I am the one that chose this path
Now I must suffer its cold wrath
You see me smile and of my wit
Deep within is a hollow pit
See me here though I am missing
Do you know whome you are kissing
All these tears are soaking my face
It is cold, my smile is frozen in place
I reach out for you from my despair
You are a dream made out of air
I only thought that you were there
I would call for you but, I do not dare
I resign to my fate to walk on alone
But, can I survive facing the unknown?
