The sound of silence bumped
my ears, angry grey compressed
sky about to burst on me,
whispering crickets, murmuring dry
leaves under feet,
dead root steming from earth
housing death surrounded by mystic
creepy air warned me...
A sudden pat on shoulder,
Ooof! Dad it's you,
lips parted, Dad smiled- his teeth
missing, gums bleeding, eyes turned
total white lighted
Ouch.... Something pinned my back-
unruled, unwashed haired
foul smelling woman in white
laughing terribly,
heart stopped dried throat,
suddenly I opened eyes
walls known, clock known...
My room, my bed
huhhh! A nightmare

Your piece was a trip through the senses, painting a picture of it's own and taking the prompt into an original direction by turning it into a nightmare. Very good job. Thanks for the entry, best of luck.
