Fighting back words I fear to say.

It seems yet again the words churning in
my stomach are trying to claw their way out.

Stubbornly they force past my clutching
throat as it tries to keep them down.

Scratching over the soft flesh of my tounge
and lunging for my tightly clenched teeth.

Jaw quivers with the strain of keeping
the words from breaking out.

If the words escape there is no way to
return them to their unspoken state.

Desperately lips wrap around to cover
chattering teeth and bring back silence.

The tounge rolls and twists to drag
the barbed words back down.

Words clasp and scratch at the tender roof
of my mouth as the tounge pulls them in.

Throat choking as the stinging screaming
words sink slowly down.

Through all the pain I refuse to release these words,
no matter how much they wish to be spoken.

Omg, this is brilliant imagery. Only you wrote 'stomache' I think at the beginning (well, you asked for any spelling mistakes, so I'm telling you =P ) But I'm speechless, I don't know what to say. How do you write all these verbs and make it sound so powerful and real? I love it, one of the best imagery poems ever. Well done! =)
