Ah, that beautiful tree
So graceful and tall.
So happy and free,
May you never fall.
Colors do fade,
like love before hate.
the age, it weighed
to fall, its fate.
Touched by frost
The end, it's near
Loved and lost
Icy heart caused fear
Heart on my sleeve, taken by thieves.
How love grieves, for fallen leaves.
Author notes

outstanding! I hardly ever read shakespearean sonnets because the meter usually makes it sound sing-songy, but you rocked this : ) these are my favorite lines:
May you never fall.
Colors do fade,
like love before hate.
to fall, its fate.
Touched by frost
The end, it's near
How love grieves, for fallen leaves.
these lines have double meaning to me, and I love that
simple, yet beautiful and just what i was looking for! thanks for entering!
