I saw a little elf,
Just the other day,
She turned my dreams to beauty,
And magical things.
Her deep green eyes held magic,
this world has never know,
perhaps she was a goddess,
Of this will never know,
but she still dances in my dreams,
And one day in my heart.
Because even celtic men,
Can wish upon a star.

I like this!!
Ditto on BriarRose13's and June-bug's comments, below. What else can I say, when they've said it all?!?
This is a beautiful, wishful poem of magical hopes and dreams, that only time will perhaps one day reveal... Thank you for your wonderful entry in this contest. My best wishes to you always.
Peace,
Cyn

nicely done
you realize that most women dream of a man who'll think/dream/speak of them like this? And you just seem to get it. Where does it come from?
The only jarring point, were the last two lines, not sure how to rewrite them without taking away the thought/meaning/intent though.

excellent
great take on the prompt. Sorry about the last comment. Keep dreaming and wishing upon that star. For it is in our dreams that the magic of our lives lies. Best wishes in the contest.
