Loyal Leaf Time

Why do these minds,
Oh why do these minds
Present an eager man
To pass on and know love?
But to the place
Where I can go in time,
And when she comes
It will be dawn, you'll see.
If you are here,
I'll be sold to find love in you.

There's a gutter near-by...
It's where I lost my mind.
Tell my fix that I'm fine...
She knows I'm not all right.
And in time...
I know love will be mine.

I'll stop this beatless heart
From withering, and crying.
Morning gets here after
Seven years pass me,
Now I can see.
But am I too late?
Can I not taste what it was like
To live my life
After all...
Love will one day be mine.

There's a gutter near-by...
It's where I lost my mind.
Tell my fix that I'm fine...
She knows I'm not all right.
And in time...
I know love will be mine.

The last stanza is that one that I thought
made the most of an impact for me
as the read. Also, I think that that stanza,
could have stood alone, and still of been as good
as having the preceeding few stanzas.
    It's just that strong.
    A very nicely done piece.

Mmmm. Sounds like a song. Lovely. Hopeful, with a tinge of regret and troubles past. This is amazing, as always Cube. *hats off*
