A shattered dream
And so it seems,
A broken heart,
Were far apart,
A road to misery,
Don't say you're sorry,
I'm gathering up tears again,
We've come a long way,
And they'll never understand,
That the way we sway,
Is forever in the palm of my hand,
I remember the nights you said,
It's calm and peaceful here,
And being with you is enough to mend,
Everything that we actually fear,
And now we're far apart,
Don't look for me now,
Cos I know it will hurt you,
This comes from my heart,
I'll be back somehow,
And these words are true.
