Metaphysical Love

with touches and caresses
feeling more like pomegranate
rather than rose petals
should they resume
in their flight for freedom
to be wing to wing
in pink tinted skies

but should they

maybe a kiss on
morphine lips
is just enough
to make them last

or maybe it is a sign
that it is all over
