the Thunder

THE THUNDER

Before me rolls a mighty thunder
A surrounding song I hold strong
To my heart, my body and under
All that is and will be ner’ wrong.

That is sound, so round and great
That it is at once mine and yours
In a sense that we, have held, fate
In our hand and so it slowly pours.

The tremble of its solemn sound
We a memory of a far yesterday
Forces American heart to pound
In a way not heard before today.

That thunder is reaching our ears
After the lightning sent so to blind
Us in mass, the enemy now nears
We search one and all, now find.

This truth I sent in Godly wonder
A secret of sound I can now hear
Of the howling of graves us under
All that is evil now crawls so near.

Trust that thunder follow the light
We feel and hear that sound pound
In our ears in our mind in our sight
We will not have our rights bound.

Oh, a mother and son and daughter
Stand beside and above and beside
All that will be as strong as a water
That by all humanity seeks to reside.

Be me, see me, and by all follow me
We were a large quiet mass waiting
To now hold our meeting for all to see.
It’s greatness, bold, a masters painting.

We will stand, a mother’s son, so held
Tight against her breast years now ago
Now a military man within tightly weld
He will defend our country against a foe.

Your my thunder, rolling on and on again.
We step and stand higher and yet higher.
And the sounds of our laughter, our men,
Our women, standing now before this fire.

The sound of freedom now rings so clear
That solemn bell sound, I, we so did love
Was so close, near, that thunder I did hear
And stand with all for the ascending dove.

Against all this evil we will find this, hill
Arduous at the least, but rewarding a soul.
They, those now controlling, will find will.
So rock, so iron, so unyielding. See my pole.

It stands far above and always does wave
This wonderous flag, a symbol of freedom
It flaps our thunder. We remember, we save
Those who will save men who do not run.

Now you see how we grow when so tall.
We are the grasses, our roots deep in soil
Seeds planted so long ago, awaiting the call.
Now we wait our turn, that snake in a coil.

Remember now that aged snake we held
So dear. “Don’t tread on me” It said so bold
Now the grasses, snakes and eagles jelled
As one against those whose souls were sold.

Americans will prevail against this coup.
