Naked nights, clothed in hope,
Truth
leaves me shivering,
this atmosphere so
claustrophobic
dreams lingering,
teasing,
how are they still
so captivating?
how do entombed memories
still hold command over me?
thought I was free...
moving forward
from this scared girl's view
it pretends to be safe,
my oasis in your storm,
my dream so forlorn
and I need you so,
so let me go,
let me dream my sweetest dream
while you walk away,
out of my life,

but not really.

MMMMmmmm... I have to be honest and say, your title choice is what drew me in... Once here though, I am quite intrigued by it all. Well written. It fits the prompt very well. Though it would seem you are not happy about the break up. Keep the ink flowing and good luck!
