The day was long,
Filled with shining sunlight,
Endless laughter,
And a workout's worth of fun.
As the sun bid goodbye,
She was forced to return
To the confindment of four walls,
And she knew what was to come
At first, there was resistance.
She wanted to keep
The brown battlescars on her knees,
Momentos from the early hours.
She fought back,
Pushing, pulling, screaming, yelling,
Dying to be left in her dirty state,
Until the water rushed into her ears
She knew it was too late
As the fading warmth tapped her skin
And wrapped her in a blanket of wet.
She cried out in pain and argavation.
Suddenly, a new world opened up to her
She saw the potential of this new playground
With sea monsters, pirate ships,
Mermaid and more
When came time for her to leave,
There was some resistance
But she couldn't wait to resume the story
During her next bath.
