If I only could burn the world
and throw the ashes to Vali
If Only 1 could wash the ashes from my hands and walk amongst the fields of Ida
And with heaven so close, hold you there
Your hair in my fingers like a butterflys wings covering my fingers to keep me warm
and your smile starkly shining against the destruction behind you
my hands delicate the moment they meet your face
when seconds before they gripped out the last breath of a hated foe
And together we'd roast marshmellows as the world torched itself before our eyes
all that I've known, fallen away
something broken, something derranged
and all these sights that flood my perception
a blank spiteful stare would be all that remains of pity
these were the fools that spit at us,
the imbeciles that took our responses and caring fro granted
and here on their trees they find new homes, as our brothers
and sisters laden with bark carry these wretched dredges into the burning earth
Together we'll walk in Ida
Vallhalla may be far away
but everytime I see your eyes, you take me straightaway
and all the pain that rends me apart
and all the forces seeking to snuff me out like a candle
are evaporated against my resolve of stone
and destroyed by the composition of our hands
entwine our destinies
like our hands as one
and spirits indescribably intercepting, interweaving
we are inseperable, as the gods warrant
and here in eternity, we are indestructible admit it
and as the dredge move their slothful retreat
we glare, for they still breathe
and when our work is done
together we'll be

"my hands delicate the moment they meet your face
when seconds before they gripped out the last breath of a hated foe"
