Moonstruck
Overhead, la Luna the fairest handmaiden in god’s heavens sends magic moonbeams abroad, turning earth’s oceans to silver.
Around her, bright stars like clusters of diamonds lie scattered on the black velvet of the night sky complementing her beauty, while a passing comet salutes her on its journey to distant worlds
She hangs in the night sky full and voluptuous like a pregnant woman, beauty radiates from her and she is fair to look upon.
Far below a gentle breeze heavy laden with scent whispers secrets, and palm trees ripe with dates sway gently to the silent heartbeat of the universe.
Nearby a couple lie entwined in each other’s arms, eyes reflecting their innermost dreams and desires while lips full and sensuous touch and tease, all around them sand dunes whisper, and golden grains dance in celebration of their love.
And in the heavens above, the instigator looks down is well pleased.
