threaded

as threads of that unknown fiber
we share the burden as bastard children
of that of which we came but cannot touch
as a scar you’ve forgotten its cause
yet throbs a dull ache—pulling
beguiling that inner core to return
and shine true with the source of it all,
it whispers to you and I in the octaves of angels

You have penned a wonderful piece here. I adored the flow and the over-all setup. Short but not lacking in anything. Well done and keep it up.
